Monks in smiting team for tombs
yeap another smiting build thread . well the common setup in a smiting team is 2 w/e or w/r, 2 e/mo smiter, a nec or mes, 2 healing monk and a prot monk. im quite aquainted with the various skill setup possibilities of the warriors, smiters and all but not so with the monk. I've looked up various threads on the forums for healing and prot monk builds but im not sure if those builds can fit into a smiting team. If anyone can help me with prot and healing monk setup ill really appreciate it. thanks alot
cheers

hmm yeah thats for the healing monk right? i thought the prot monk would be different. i think there's 2 different kind of protect monk though i might be wrong. i;ve seen those that does bonding or life barrier on all members and try to keep their energy up when maintainin like 10 + enchantments. the other kind uses normal skills like prot spirit, guardian, aegis, rof if im not wrong. i dont know the exact setup for both types so ill aprreciate it if anyone can share their experience

Prot Monk : Aegis; ROF, S hands, prot spirit, mend ale, martyr, res sig
or the life barrier/lifebond setup.
Healing monk: other or infuse, touch, seed, Kiss, orision or party, hex removal, energy management skill, res sig
A varient is losing the res sig for a short aegis with enough in prot to cycle with the prot monk or a second energy management skill.
Another varient is to use a non elite energy mangement skill( Glyph of Lesser Energy, Energy Tap) and run word over the orision/heal party slot
I am not endorsing any of these skill set-ups as best; please consider the contents of your teams skill bar before locking into a set of skills.

with life bond it reduces dmg to 2x and life barrier reduces at 50%
which then the enchanted person will take less dmg

Have a look at Blessed Signet then (maybe paired with Mantra of Inscriptions) - this will return energy for each maintained enchantment.

Blessed Sig
Mantra of Inscriptions
Mend Ale
Martyr
Aegis
Balth spirit
Life bond
Res
Thats my typical setup for a life bonder. Sometimes Balth spirit gets taken out for something else, like RoF or Shielding hands.
Oh yea, on a smite team using E/Mo's, i'll take out martyr for spellbreaker, the emo's draw all conditions so i just mend ale on them.
